I don’t know. Sometimes I run into somebody who tells me (or friends of mine) that you can’t be “hip hop” if you wear anything but hip hop brands.
Fact is that I’m wearing ties, classic shirts, and suits. No sneakers but boots, no baggy jeans but my old beloved Edwin pair.
But my kicks and snares are what they sounds like. And they don’t come from my look or my clothes. They come from my guts.
